Why Your Copier Company Matters More than the Manufacturer

Copier wc75XXWhen buying a copier, most people wonder, “What is the best copier in the market today?”  This is a good question, but there is a better question, “What is the copier company I am going to be working with like?”

When you are thinking about which copier to get, you may be trying to figure out what specs are on each copier.  Once you have it all worked out and the copier is in your office, you still have to work with someone to keep it working well.

Lets say you have some choices – A Xerox Altalink C8030, Xerox Altalink C8045, Xerox Altalink C8070, Ricoh MP C3504, Ricoh MP C6004ex, Canon ImageRUNNER Advance C356if, Canon ImageRUNNER Advance C5560i etc – Sure you can run out there and see how fast each print, the warm-up times, the paper handling, etc.   The only problem is with no support, or poor support, they will all start driving you crazy.

The bigger question is, once I get this copier, how will I get service?  How will I get supplies?  When I am confused, who will I call?  If you have bought copiers or lease copiers.  So if you are buying a Xerox Copiers, Canon Copiers, Ricoh Copiers, HP Copiers, or Kyocera Copiers all of them can be good copiers when you have the proper support for the copier you are purchasing or leasing.

What are some of the things you should consider?

  • What is the service lead time?
  • Do you get charged for higher than 20% color coverage
  • What are you charged for supplies shipping
  • What happens if you get a lemon?
  • Can you have supplies on the shelf?
  • If you are confused about print drivers, can you get help?

We would love to help you get a copier lease.  We sell Xerox copiers, and like every brand, Xerox will be amazing as long as you get the great support you deserve!
