The city is widely acknowledged for its artistic, historical, and various natural locations to provide you with plenty to explore.

Mary Todd Lincoln House

The house is located right in the center of West Main St, the city’s downtown area. Made of Gregorian Brick, it was built in 1803 and used as an inn and tavern. It comes with all its artifacts, and was the first historic site restored for the First Lady.

And how can we forget about the horses, right? Keeneland is a professional racing course open to the general public. It was founded in 1936. You can tour the indoor facility and check the racecourse out. Attending a race day is pretty fun, but you can also visit this place for various other events like auctions.

Raven Run

This nature sanctuary located in Lexington and is located in the city’s southern fringe. It has lush greenery expanding over 734 acres. There are hiking trails and river palisades.

You might also find some remnants of the early settlers from the 19th Century. This place has the Joe Pulliam Memorial Garden, and you can see Monarch Butterflies during their migration.
