So what can you expect to enjoy in Denver?

Denver Breweries

There are over 140 breweries in the Denver metro area and at least 90 breweries in the Denver city limits. Most of these are located Downtown.

Since its opening in 1994, The Great Divide Brewing Company has won 12 Great American Beer Festival awards. The Great Divide’s Denver Pale Ale has won more awards than any other Colorado beer.

Another local brewery that is a favorite is Breckenridge Brewery, which opened in Denver in the 1990’s. One of their popular drinks is Agave Wheat, an unfiltered ale with agave nectar.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Owned by Denver City, this venue is a short drive from Downtown Denver and offers views of the Downtown skyline. What better way to enjoy the mountain view than to combine it with your favorite band in concert?

The Red Rocks Amphitheatre seats over 9,500 people. Sunset views around the amphitheater are to die for, and the rocks themselves enhance the sound of performances.

The Red Rocks Amphitheatre has hosted several notable figures. The Beatles played there on August 26, 1964. Jimi Hendrix performed there four years later. U2, The Grateful Dead, and the band Phish are a few of the many notable bands that have performed at Red Rocks.

Molly Brown House Museum

This is the home of philanthropist Margaret Brown, also known as “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” who survived the sinking of the Titanic. Her home is considered a Denver landmark.

The house was built in 1880 and incorporates the Queen Anne style architecture that was popular during that time. The museum exhibits artifacts from her life as well as those of the Victorian age in Denver, Colorado.
